Documentary ‘Invisible Warriors: African American Women in World War II, followed by Q&A with filmmaker and historian Gregory S. Cooke

The program will include an introduction by a real-life “Rosie,” a female defense industry worker during the war, and a viewing of the documentary Invisible Warriors: African American Women in World War II, produced by Professor Gregory S. Cooke. Professor Cooke is a recently retired Assistant Adjunct Professor for Drexel University and the Community College of Philadelphia. The program will also include a virtual question and answer (Q&A) session with Professor Cooke following the screening. This event is free.
